Narrative:

            Lew has practiced Matrimonial Law for more than 35 years, handling litigated cases involving asset division, spousal maintenance, child custody and support.  He has participated in numerous trials. 

            Lew recognizes the significant cost of litigation and the emotional toll on his clients.  To that end, Lew is a long-standing member of the Collaborative Law Association of Rochester, whose members provide an alternative to litigation for separating and divorcing couples.

Community:

            Lew serves as the President of the Seneca Waterways Council Boy Scouts of America, having been a long-standing member of the Council's Board of Directors.  He received the Silver Beaver Award for outstanding service to the Council.  He has served on a variety of boards of directors including the SUNY Brockport College Foundation Board, Monroe Community College Paralegal Studies Advisory Committee, Volunteer Legal Services Project, Rochester Presbyterian Home, and Mental Health Association of Rochester.  Lew is currently a member of the Fairport/Perinton Partnership for a Better Community and continues his membership in the Fairport Rotary Club, being a past president.
